FAQ Rules

Rules and stuff.

Q. Is this thing open?

A. Kinda-maybe? Clearly the forums are open. Please make use. Toss up something or run with something or - whatever strikes your fancy. I do not want them to be overwhelming, but if y'all are interested I might add a place for pieces re: old WoD characters who you cannot quite let go of. For mood posts, not related to what may / may never be the Seattle setting.

Q. Just forums?

A. Naw, I want a chat. I want Jove, specifically. Something fluid we can use for fun. Have e-mailed Harle, and am working in that direction.

Q. Can I promote my short story / fan fiction / RP Board / chat / and/or invite other folks to join me elsewhere in Seventh Sea / Acadia / New Orleans?

A. Yes! Please. If you are playing/writing/reading someplace else and want to spread the love, feel free to drop a note about what you're doing, invite other folks, boast, or otherwise chatter about other opportunities out there. Or you know, share stuff here.

Q. Copyright?

A. Hey guys, Berne Convention. ALL CONTENT IS COPYRIGHT OF THE ORIGINAL AUTHOR [2012 to infinity]. Apologies to White Wolf and other game systems we may play within. Fair use for that stuff, yo, within the boundaries of gaming actually contemplated by the books. The freeform stuff belongs to each individual poster, and certainly the shortstories/languages/characters.

Q. Can I post general invites here, on Forum X or Y?

A. No. Please. Maybe someday, but certainly not yet.

Q. Can I invite Jane Doe?

A. Absolutely! You're welcome to reach out to your circle of writing / roleplaying acquaintances, with the caveat that this is freeform and dependent on reaching out to strangers / old friends for a bit of fun now and again. A playground, if you will, not a theme park. And also: treating each other fairly well. That's pretty important. Golden rule and all.

Q. Can I help?

A. Yes! Style, graphics, suggestions, storywriting/telling. For this to be fun, you know, participation. OR WE NEED JOVE. You know, if you have the code.

Q. It is so ugly? Like a 1970s prom suit?
http://www.blacktieguide.com/History/1974-1979/1975_aftersix_ad_edit.jpg

A. I know. Working on it. Say hi to Lessa.

Q. Can we have a subforum for _____?

A. Maybe! I don't want them too cluttered, but if you have thoughts/suggestions/recommendations post and make recommendations or talk to me and we'll get them up there.

Q. Pin this post?

A. Sure, and I'll make you a moderator so you can do it yourself.
